CITIZEU – The Impact of Euroscepticism in the construction of Europe The project will seek to bring Europe closer to our citizens, combining content as teaching civic participation through which to articulate a mechanism at local level to fight against the incipient Euroscepticism under the program Europe for Citizens. The CITIZEU project has involved citizens’ dialogue events in the partner countries and a MOOC course on the European Union.
AEKS has organised a citizens’ discussion event in Helsinki on 11 April 2019. A candidate for the European Parliament gave a presentation on the reasons for the criticism to the EU. The participants, both voluntary young people from students’ association and international partners appreciated the opportunity to discuss constructively and appreciating each others’ views the future of the European Union.
